Complete set for Formula De

The last of the teams are complete! It's been fun, but it took forever to make and paint all those cars.

  3. Hi,

Your blogspot status says you are not taking any more orders at this time. Is this still the case?

I am interested to know how much you charge for your work and if I can afford it I would be keen to send further details via email.

    Regards,

    1. Unfortunately yes. It takes a long time and a lot of work to make a set of cars, and the return just isn't worth it.

  4. Hi again,

That is a real pity because the cars in the photo look excellent and really collectible.

I would have enjoyed playing Formula D (Asmodee) and Grand Prix (GMT Games) with such realistic pieces creating a grid of classical F1 cars that otherwise would never be seen together.

I respect your decision but I can't help wishing it could have been different.

    Yours respectfully,

  5. P.S. to my most recent message (19/02/2019).

    Dear Rothgar,

Unfortunately, even if you had agreed to take on the job I could not ask you to do them all in one order.

You see with household bills, etc. I don't have much to spend each time I am paid. But to try and make my offer more appealing (well let's hope someone will think so).

I am asking for two cars per month to be made and painted at £10 each. That means a grid of 20 would cost me £200 and the job would not be required to be done any sooner than 10 months. Would that be fair?

    Best wishes,

  6. Let me see about trying to cast in silicone and do resin casts. I love the cars, and I really do appreciate the interest. I was going to get it cast in metal, but I would have to do more work on the sculpt, and I didn't want to mess it up in the process.

    1. I recently obtained a resin DLP 3d printer. I will be creating a digital sculpt of my formula car and if everything goes according to plan, these cars should be available again, in the near future.
