I used a micropoint marker to draw on the texture. I added some highlights with a white pencil. I'll give it a wash and then paint up the base.

Terrain - Crates part 1

I'm working on some sci-fi terrain pieces. These will be stacks of crates to use as barricades, cover etc. They are just wooden cubes I bought at the craft store. I'll paint them up and draw a texture on them.
