Aeronef Part 2


I've cut out the layers of sheet styrene and started to glue them together to form the hulls. The carrier is ready for painting. I'll add a few more details to the destroyers, like masts, turrets and tail fins, then they'll be ready to paint as well.

Aeronef Part 1



I'm building my own Aeronefs to play Wessex Game's VSF ruleset. I used Autocad to create templates of layers, that when stacked together, will form a basic hull shape. Then I'll just add some details like masts and smoke stacks, paint it up and have a fleet. I built a few of these in cardboard, but they are too delicate to handle, so I'll build some more out of sheet styrene.
